instead of 12 items as advertised, they only shipped one. the item itself was ok. but the seller is a scam. walmart tried to contact them but they never responded back. scam!!!
I never received my original purchase and instead I received was a box of Twinkies. What a shady company!!!
I paid for a pack of 12 but received 1 bag! I followed the ElimMart.com policy and contacted the company. Mailbox full and service hung up. Called 4 times with the same outcome.
I was at the newburgh walmart today, everything was fine for the time being. i got my things and proceed to walk towards the checkout area, i seen there was a big line for self check out. so i waited but once i got up there i was rudely interrupted by an employee, who was being so rude telling me to get out the store because i had a shirt saying target was better. and the security guard took me by the neck and basically dragged me out like a rag doll. this is so unacceptable and nasty of an attitude! NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!!! And btw all i came here was for chips and this was how i was treated because of a shirt. unbelievable man what a disappointment really. and it shows that todays society is a mess and get offended for smallest of things
yo. tell me why I open up this and it's LESS THAN 1/4 FULL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!????? They taste great but packaging is deceptive!
To clarify what some other reviewers have said, these are not significantly healthier than potato chips. Both are a starchy fruit/vegetable sliced thinly, fried in oil, and salted. These have about 10 fewer calories per 28g serving than Lay's (for s total of 150), 2g lower fat, and .5g less saturated fat. They are quite a bit lower in sodium (50mg vs. Lays' 170mg) per serving, but have a higher carb count. That said, they are delicious and hard to stop eating. They are sliced a bit thicker, like a kettle chip, which gives them a nice crunch and dipability. I would recommend them, but not as a healthy snacking alternative.
These were absolutely delicious and crisp. They had the perfect amount of crunch. I don't like really salty chips so these were perfect. I would trade my usual brand of chips for these plantain chips. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These Goya Plantain Chips have a nice lightly salted flavor and just the right amount of crunch to them. They are shaped like banana chips but don't taste like them at all. They taste like a regular potato chip and are good with guacamole or homemade salsa. There is about five servings per bag and 150 calories per serving. I like that they are gluten free and low sodium. I try to eat healthy and these are a nice snack. If you are looking for a healthier snack then these are worth trying. They taste really fresh. They are thin and crunchy, lightly salted, thinner than a dried sweet banana, but the same size. Taste somewhat like a potato chip.
